In this role, you will be a core member of a fast-growing engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining backend services that power highly scalable web and mobile platforms. You will work on creating robust microservices, optimizing data flows, and ensuring system reliability while contributing to technical strategy and innovation. Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain microservices to ensure scalable and maintainable backend systems
- Write production-quality code, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical documentation
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and data flow patterns for efficiency and reliability
- Implement monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization for distributed systems
- Research and apply innovative solutions to complex backend engineering challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance APIs and services
Requirements
- 4-7 years of software development experience focused on backend systems
- Proficiency in Go and , with experience building scalable backend services
- Hands-on experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with AWS services, containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively, and effective communication across teams
- Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments is a plus
