We are seeking a talented Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Australia. In this role, you will report to the Cloud & Infrastructure Manager and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms like Azure, GCP, AWS.
- Provision and configure virtual machines, storage, and networking resources.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Implement and maintain containerization solutions using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and integration.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely incident response.
- Serve as the Azure SME for key projects, collaborating across development, security, operations, and automation using the Microsoft Azure platform (DevOps).
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, with extensive experience in Azure.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell.
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancing.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is a plus.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, e.g., Bicep.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with Azure Container Apps.
- Experience with resource, cost, and security optimization (Cloud Ops / FinOps).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience using the Microsoft Azure platform.
