We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team in developing a cutting-edge Supply Chain solution leveraging cloud technologies. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning and analytics solutions that enhance visibility, resiliency, and orchestration within supply chain management.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy ML models to optimize supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, anomaly detection, inventory optimization, and risk management
- Implement real-time analytics and monitoring solutions using AWS services (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS QuickSight)
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, and product owners to integrate ML solutions into the Control Tower platform
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights, inform model selection, and validate hypotheses
- Maintain, monitor, and refine models to ensure accuracy and performance, continuously improving outcomes based on feedback and business objectives
- Document and communicate methodologies, processes, and results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with the AWS Machine Learning stack (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon Forecast)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using data processing libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Strong understanding of supply chain concepts and challenges, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex models and analytical findings
- Experience with AWS Control Tower or similar supply chain orchestration platforms
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as AWS QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau
