Responsibilities

This key leadership role will work in tandem with the Head of Digital to drive MSF’s digital marketing strategy for fundraising across Australia and New Zealand, helping to shape our online fundraising strategy and build on opportunities made possible from our recent technology transformation, which includes a new CRM.

As a part of the engagement team and member of the Fundraising Leadership team, you will have a dotted reporting line to the head of Fundraising and will lead a small team to manage the performance of all digital fundraising activities, design seamless user experiences across multiple channels to increase fundraising revenue.

Responsibilities include:

  • Digital marketing and fundraising program management
  • E-commerce management
  • Internal and external relationship management
  • Digital product ownership
  • Project management – implementation and optimisation of the Supporter Experience project
  • Marketing strategy
  • Lead generation management
  • Mentor, manage and grow the capability of the team
  • Budget management of targets and expenditure
  • Embed digital innovation across the organisation

Ultimately, your work will result in more funding to support MSF projects, a superior experience for our donors, and improved care for the people to whom we provide medical aid.

Requirements

To be successful in this collaborative position, you will be known for your creative thinking, positive management style, and proven ability to deliver targets. Ideally, you can demonstrate the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in digital marketing or equivalent professional experience
  • Expert level knowledge of Google Analytics including Events, Goals, eCommerce & Reporting
  • Expert level of Facebook Ads, SEM, Display & Video Ad buying
  • Expert level data analysis and reporting
  • Experience in reporting on campaign performances and generating recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to implement successful digital acquisition strategies
  • Superior time management skills and ability to deliver to deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to drive strategic decision making
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to lead and work in a team and foster an innovative, dynamic, positive culture
  • Knowledge of fundraising regulations and ethical practices
  • Awareness of latest digital marketing trends
  • Experience with content management systems & eDMs platforms
