Astound Business Solutions is currently searching for a Sr. Enterprise Account Executive in our greater Manhattan, NY market. The Sr. Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for outside sales to enterprise level commercial customers, including large business customers of both internet & telephone services. This includes proactively identifying new customer sales opportunities, defining customer needs, preparing proposals, and closing deals.

\n\n

In this role, the primary position responsibilities will include:

\n
    \nWorks with the Sales Engineering department to determine the economic feasibility of individual projects and proposal generation.\nVisits existing customers to assess their needs and provides them with customized account management for telephone, cable, data and/or related network services ( VPN/private lines/DIA, etc.).\nSolicits prospective and existing commercial clients to promote increased or economical use of communication services.\nContacts building owners and developers of new construction of commercial properties to propose exclusive contract with Grande to provide communications needs.\nExplains service usage, using brochures and demonstrating services with customer's CPE or features of IP Centrex, if applicable.\nComplaint resolution of service, bill, and implementation issues to the mutual benefit of the customer and company.\nComprehensive understanding of voice and data services/products with the ability to recognize sales opportunities and explain applicable service offerings.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

    The successful candidate must be:

    \n
      \nA self-starter who is willing to make as many calls per day as it takes to set over 10 Discovery Meetings per week.\nMentally tough and willing to take regular rejection.\nConsistent in performing measurable and effective sales behaviors.\nHighly coachable and able to implement feedback from managers and team\nDetail oriented and organized with excellent follow-up skills.\n\n

      Our ideal candidate will possess:

      \n
        \nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required.\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred or equivalent relevant industry experience.\nThree (3) or more years of experience in a commercial telecommunications sales environment of PBX, large Key systems (12-lines or greater) and/or data services preferred.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nComputer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.\nMust possess skills in budget management.\nAble to analyze a commercial customer's total communications requirements for voice and data from viewing customer's operations, equipment and records.\nExcellent interpersonal skills: reads the other person's reactions.\nGood listening and observation skills.\nPreferably minimum of a year of successful sales performance in Account Executive II role at full quota.\nMust possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record\n\n

          Base Salary: The base salary range in New York for this position is $95,000 annually, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations.

          \n

          Commissions at plan: Targeted commissions at full attainment are thirty-two thousand, four hundred dollars annually. Our sales total compensation offers the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
