Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Executive Finance & Accounts to support our finance department with accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be well-versed in financial principles, and have hands-on experience with accounting software and financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reconciliations:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, journal entries, and general ledger functions.
- Scrutinize general ledger accounts periodically to ensure the correctness of postings.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet items.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts, vendor/customer balances, and advances.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports with other month-end workings
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support the timely closing of books and financial reporting in line with accounting standards
- Support external and internal audit processes by preparing the required documentation
Accounts Payable Monitoring:
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable process: invoice verification, approvals, payment processing
- Monitor vendor accounts, resolve disputes, and maintain positive supplier relationships
- Prepare and present periodic reports on AP aging, cash flow forecasts, payment schedules, and provisions
Regulatory & Legal Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all financial laws and regulations as per the Companies Act, GST Act, Income Tax Act, and others as applicable
- Maintain documentation and records as per statutory retention requirements
- Prepare reports/statements for regulatory authorities as required
Requirements:
Education & experience:
- Master's degree in commerce, Finance, or related field
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA in Finance preferred
- 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in finance or accounting roles with a track record of increasing responsibility
- Experience in the Staffing industry, finance operations is a plus
