About The OpportunityReporting directly to the Financial Controller, this newly created position will play a critical role supporting financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading month-end close activities, reconciliations, and fixed asset management
- Managing lease accounting, prepayments, and capitalized software development costs
- Supporting statutory financial statement preparation and audits
- Collaborating on sales commissions, consultant payments, and contract reporting
- Developing and maintaining accounting policies in line with standards
- Preparing management reports with financial insights for leadership
- CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years industry experience
- Experience in external reporting for ASX-listed companies and strong understanding of accounting standards
- Excellent attention to detail and inquisitive mindset
- Strong communication skills and ability to build cross-departmental relationships
- Proactive, adaptable team player capable of working independently
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus
