About The Role

Transmax is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer - Level 3 for a parental leave cover role of up to 18 months. You will join our dynamic marketing team, taking responsibility for leading visual design projects, collaborating internally to create engaging visuals, maintaining brand consistency, and designing STREAMS road schematics and user interfaces for state government clients.

A snapshot of your day-to-day

• Design road schematics and user interfaces for various projects
• Translate technical road construction plans into detailed vector maps
• Present visual concepts that are clear and user-friendly
• Create marketing assets for digital and print platforms
• Ensure consistent visual identity across all projects
• Develop infographics to communicate complex information visually

Requirements About you

We seek a highly organized Graphic Designer with keen attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and problem-solving skills. You should be a motivated self-starter with a qualification in Graphic Design (or related fields) and a minimum of 5 years' experience in visual design.

Your toolkit for success will include:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
• Ability to interpret technical documentation (road plans)
• Expertise in creating vector graphics and large-scale artwork
• Experience in map creation
• Design experience across print and digital media, including marketing collateral and infographics
• Project management skills from concept to delivery
• Brand management experience

Ideally, you will also have:

• Adobe After Effects
• WordPress CMS experience
• Figma proficiency
