About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Human Resource Executive to lead and manage core HR functions in a full-time remote capacity. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on HR experience who can independently oversee employee lifecycle management, policy implementation, HR operations, and compliance while contributing to a strong company culture. You will collaborate with leadership to drive people-first strategies that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and exit formalities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws
- Develop, implement, and regularly update HR policies and procedures
- Manage employee engagement, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
- Support performance management and appraisal processes
- Serve as a point of contact for HR queries across departments
- Recommend and lead initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an HR generalist or executive role
- Strong understanding of HR functions, labor laws, and HR best practices
- Proven experience in policy creation and employee relations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Proficiency in HR software/tools (e.g., Zoho People, Keka, BambooHR, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced organization
- Knowledge of payroll and compliance processes
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, HRCI, etc.)
