We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager with more than 5 years of experience for our office in Barcelona, Spain.
We are looking for a engineer with experience in project management either in client or consulting company, to actively participate in a wide range of project work, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions. The management each project can include multiple phases and/or specialization:
- Strategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineering.
- Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall time schedule, procurement strategy, and financial plan
- Project preparation phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement.
- Project realization phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.
The role of the Project Engineer is to deliver to the client the more than satisfactory quality of the services within the budget and planning defined.
What is the role About?
We are looking for an Senior Project Engineer to:
- Project documentation and control, cost control, scheduling, and construction supervision.
- Feeling comfortable taking tasks that require various skills and prioritizing task completion.
- Experience on the complete life cycle of projects, for example, master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works and main infrastructure needs, contracting, and construction management and supervision.
- Industrial environment projects with scope in process engineering; equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation, etc.
- Notions in civil works, building utilities and process utilities.
- Experience in permitting and procurement is anasset.
- Valuable experience in mid to big sized projects (>1M€ / >; 10M€)
Who are you?
- Industrial or process engineer specialization in one of the following qualifications: Ind. Organization, Chemicals or Bio-Chemicals, Mechanicals (and/or similar)
- More than 5 years as a Project Engineer with relevant experience on industrial projects and project management
- Experience in Industrial environment projects with scope in process engineering; equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation, etc
- Open to National mobility depending on the project.
- Experience in Food and Beverages or Farma industries is a must.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is a must, Catalan is an asset.
- Driver License B
- Knowledge in PC-literate MS word and Excel and PowerPoint applications, MS Project, Auto CAD.
- Candidate should have Global Mindset, focus on results, challenging, pragmatic. With Proactive and leadership skills.
- On- Site in Barcelona office
