About the Role :
The Senior SAP FICO Consultant will be a key member of the SAP team in Europe and Africa, responsible for executing the rollout of the global SAP template solution across different regions. This role involves managing demand for new requirements, overseeing application support services delivered by the global IT Delivery Hub, and ensuring the alignment of local SAP systems with the global template. The consultant will focus on finance and controlling aspects and integration with other SAP modules and systems, requiring strong coordination with business representatives, Europe-Africa IT teams, and global IT teams.

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and execute SAP FICO project activities across various phases: Fit-Gap Analysis, Build, Testing, Training, Data Migration, Roles and Authorizations, Go-live, Hypercare, and Transition to Operations.
- Prepare functional designs for accepted gaps in the FICO module and validate externally developed designs.
- Ensure the consistency of FICO solutions with other SAP modules and IT systems.
- Align project change requests with the IT Delivery Hub’s Application Managers.
- Oversee and validate deliverables and efforts from ITD and external resources within FICO projects.
- Operations & Post-Deployment Support :
- Serve as a liaison between business users and IT support teams.
- Support business users in incident resolution and new requirement definitions.
- Manage tasks and deliverables of external resources and validate effort estimations.
- Assist business users with testing and training activities.
- Participate actively in service and demand management meetings and activities.
- Ensure end-to-end consistency of solutions across SAP modules and external IT tools.
- Participate in global template discussions and governance related to finance and controlling.
- Assess template changes from other business units for potential impacts.
Key Requirements :
- Experience: At least 5 years as an SAP FICO Consultant in medium-large industrial corporations within international and multicultural environments.
- Profitability analysis. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of ABAP technical designs. Knowledge of FICO data model, tables, and user exits. Familiarity with EDI and middleware technologies. Experience in functional design of interfaces. Ability to analyze OSS Notes related to FICO.
- SAP Lifecycle Management & Governance: Experience with Change Management processes using Solution Manager.
- Release Management and Solution Documentation expertise. Other Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, customer- and solution-oriented mindset.
