About the Role
Amba Enterprises Limited is seeking a proactive and skilled
Software Developer Intern
to join our team. You'll play a crucial role in modernizing our core business operations by helping to design, build, and deploy an in-house
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
to manage inventory, orders, accounts, and processes.
This is a high-impact role for a self-starter, offering the opportunity to move processes from impractical Excel sheets into a production-grade application environment. We're looking for a dedicated "doer" with strong technical and communication skills who is ready to take ownership and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- ERP System Development:
Rapidly develop and implement modules (Inventory, Order Management, Accounts) for the in-house ERP system using
Python
. - Process Automation:
Design and implement automation solutions for internal business processes using
Microsoft Power Automate/Power Apps
or Python scripting to reduce manual effort. - Database Management:
Write and optimize
SQL
queries to manage and interact with application data, ensuring data integrity and performance. - System Integration:
Explore and implement
AI/ML integration
into business solutions using tools like
Langchain, BAML, or custom Python models
to enhance operational intelligence. - Version Control & Collaboration:
Utilize
Git
and standard version control practices for collaborative development and code management. - Support & Documentation:
Assist with general
MS Office administration
and technical issues as needed, and create comprehensive technical documentation for all developed systems. - Problem-Solving:
Proactively identify inefficiencies in existing systems and propose/implement robust, scalable software solutions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python:
Strong fundamental knowledge and practical experience. - Database Knowledge:
Solid understanding of relational databases and hands-on experience with
SQL
. - Problem-Solving Skills:
Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities to tackle complex technical and business problems. - Development Tools:
Experience with
Git
and standard version control systems. - Communication & Drive:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a
'doer' attitude
with a strong commitment to getting tasks completed efficiently and effectively. - Eagerness to Learn:
A high degree of motivation and a keen interest in learning new technologies, particularly Microsoft Power Apps/Automate and AI integration tools.
Good to Have

Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- This role is open to both full-time and part-time candidates.
