Description

The mission of the EU INTech Consumer Selection Discovery teams is to help customers find, evaluate, and compare products they like, need, or want. Our vision is that every customer should be confident to find the best product for their specific needs and preferences at the best value with very low effort. We believe that each customer and their situation require specific attention, so we build delightful shopping experiences tailored to the customer’s mission. We innovate from EU for the WW customer, partnering with WW business and tech teams across Softlines, Consumables, Hardlines, and other platform/host teams. We aim to deliver a cohesive sitewide customer experience while avoiding a one-size-fits-all approach.

Key job responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support major components of software applications at a global scale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to deliver software solutions.
  • Influence technical direction, drive operational excellence, and maintain high quality standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and learn from high-performing teams.

A day in the life

Our engineers work on various retail components such as Search, Detail Page, Cart, Checkout, and Post-Purchase. They handle end-to-end development from ideation, technical design, implementation, to experimentation. Collaboration with PMTs and UX designers is essential for fleshing out requirements. Expect some DevOps work, including CI/CD optimization and maintaining high operational standards.

You will join a diverse, full-stack SDE team based in Madrid (MAD15), working across WW Stores tech stack and beyond.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in professional software development (non-internship).
  • Experience designing or architecting reliable, scalable systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
