Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure applications and services across backend, frontend, and mobile.
• Take
  ownership
  of modules/features – from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring.
• Debug, refactor, and modernise
  legacy codebases
  for performance, SEO, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver business-critical features.
• Implement
  security best practices
  (authentication, authorization, encryption, headers, cookie flags, OWASP).
• Contribute to architecture discussions, optimise systems for scale, and ensure
  compliance-first development
  (HIPAA, ISO, GDPR awareness).

For
frontend
:

• Help migrate legacy React/Express SSR app to
  15 with App Router, RSC, and Streaming SSR
  .
• Implement
  file-based routing, nested layouts, and route handlers
  for data access.
• Own
  SEO and metadata
  using Metadata API (canonical URLs, OpenGraph, JSON-LD).
• Improve Web Vitals (LCP, TTFB, CLS, INP) via code-splitting, image/font optimisation, and script strategies.

For
backend
:

• Build APIs/services using
  Java + Spring Boot
  ; leverage AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Optimise databases, caching (Redis/NoSQL), and event-driven patterns.

For
mobile
:

• Develop and optimise
  React Native
  apps; work on app release processes (Play Store/App Store).

Qualifications

• Experience:
  1–5 years in software development.
• Strong problem-solving ability, debugging skills, and ownership mindset.
• Track-specific expertise:
• Backend:
  Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, caching, AWS.
• Frontend:
  ,
  App Router, 15 a plus)
  , RSC/Streaming SSR, SEO best practices.
• Mobile:
  React Native; familiarity with cross-platform app deployment.
• Good understanding of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments.
• Awareness of
  secure coding practices
  and accessibility standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy-to-modern migrations (React Router → , monolith → microservices).
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), analytics tools, monitoring (CloudWatch, Crashlytics).
• Strong fundamentals in performance optimisation (bundle analysis, query tuning, JVM tuning, async processing).
• Experience in regulated domains (Healthcare, FinTech) with a
  compliance-first mindset
