Description
As a Solution Architect at Weatherford, you'll play a pivotal role in leading the implementation of Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions. You'll combine your expertise in IT solution architecture with operational knowledge in manufacturing and inventory to drive efficiency and accuracy across our global operations.
ResponsibilitiesSolution Delivery & Architecture:
- Lead architecture and delivery of Oracle Fusion Manufacturing, Inventory, and Costing modules.
- Support make-to-stock, make-to-order, and discrete manufacturing models.
- Drive accuracy in material planning, BOM management, and work order execution.
Project Leadership:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of manufacturing and inventory-related initiatives.
- Define project scope, timeline, deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Maintain compliance with enterprise IT and manufacturing standards.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration:
- Work with production, operations, warehousing, and supply chain stakeholders.
- Manage cross-functional teams for design, build, and deployment activities.
- Ensure change readiness and system adoption.
Performance & Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor production throughput, material usage, and inventory accuracy KPIs.
- Enable real-time visibility across the production and inventory landscape.
- Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues and improvements.
Training & Knowledge Transfer:
- Provide end-user training and ensure knowledge transfer to support teams.
- Document business processes and manufacturing flows.
Administrative Duties:
- Track and report time, expenses, and project deliverable status.
- Report business analytics and contribute to KPI improvements.
- Complete assigned training and support knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in solution architecture.
- Proven experience in Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) implementation, with knowledge of the following modules:
- Inventory Management (INV)
- Manufacturing (Discrete/Process)
- Order Management (OM)
- Procurement (PO, iProcurement)
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) (nice to have)
- Planning (ASCP / Demand & Supply Planning)
- Warehouse Management (WMS / Logistics)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing operations and inventory control processes.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams during Oracle ERP/SCM implementations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into IT solutions and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in global manufacturing environments.
