As the Sr. Manager, U.S. Operating Model, you’ll define what the operating
model should be — and why. You’ll shape the next evolution of how our business
operates by designing frameworks, aligning enterprise priorities, and testing future-state
scenarios that balance strategy, cost, and scalability.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, structure, and storytelling — connecting
insights across Finance, HR, and Field partners to design models that make the
organization stronger, smarter, and more agile. You’ll translate complex data into clear
insights, influence senior stakeholders, and help the business make confident, future-
ready design decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Translate enterprise priorities into future-state operating model design choices
• Analyze performance, structural, and financial data to identify opportunities and
trade-offs
• Distill insights into clear narratives and visual frameworks that guide executive
decisions
• Create rubrics, decision criteria, and frameworks to steer long-term evolution
• Pressure-test model options with Finance, HR, and cross-functional partners
• Lead alignment across multiple leadership levels — building trust, shaping buy-
in, and driving clarity through influence
• Present findings and recommendations through strategic, data-backed
storytelling
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years in organizational design, strategy, consulting, or related fields
• 3+ Experience managing multiple stakeholder groups and navigating complex
decision landscapes
Proven experience analyzing and visualizing data and translating insights into
action
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence
without authority
• Proficiency with Excel or PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience designing operating or organizational models for large-scale
enterprises
• Background in management consulting, organizational effectiveness, or
workforce strategy
• Retail or retail business experience — understanding of store operations,
customer experience, or field leadership structures
• Demonstrated ability to align diverse stakeholders — from field leaders to senior
executives — around complex decisions
• Strength in connecting data, business context, and human impact to drive
enterprise clarity at the executive level
• Experience collaborating across all levels of Finance, HR, and field operations
teams to move work forward
