About the Role:
RJR Maintenance Group is seeking a highly diligent and analytical Staff Accountant to be a core contributor in our finance department. This role will be responsible for billing, and reporting for our collection of enterprises, accounts payable processes and cash management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger on a monthly basis along with day to day transactions.
· Reconcile the bank statements and credit card statements.
· Manage and oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely vendor payments and proper coding.
· Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring the timely delivery of client monthly and weekly billing.
· Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and analysis as required along with providing support for annual budget preparation and ongoing cashflow projections.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Candidates with commensurate experience – specifically 5 or more years of progressive staff accountant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
· Advanced in using Quickbooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Excel
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
· Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with multi-entity organizations or specialized industry accounting.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior management and non-finance teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70, $85,000.00 per year
