About the Role :
We are seeking a highly creative, experienced, and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer (Product Specialist) to join our dynamic and growing team. Key Responsibilities
User-Centered Design & Research :
- Lead and conduct various user research activities, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B testing, to gather valuable insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Analyze user feedback, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for design innovation and improvement.
- Develop user personas, user journey maps, and information architecture to establish a deep understanding of our target audience and their interactions with our products.
- Translate research findings and business requirements into actionable design strategies and user-centric solutions.
Interface Design & Prototyping :
- Design and refine intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces across a range of digital platforms, including web, mobile (iOS and Android), and potentially other emerging interfaces.
- Create various levels of design deliverables, including low-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs, to effectively communicate design concepts and facilitate stakeholder feedback.
- Utilize industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) to create and iterate on design solutions.
- Ensure designs are responsive, accessible (following WCAG guidelines), and optimized for various screen sizes and devices.
Collaboration & Communication :
- Collaborate closely and effectively with product managers, software developers, engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Clearly articulate design rationale, present design concepts, and advocate for user-centered design principles in cross-functional discussions.
- Participate actively in product planning and roadmap discussions, providing valuable insights and recommendations from a user experience perspective.
- Provide constructive feedback on design work from other team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative design culture.
Design System & Consistency :
- Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency in UI patterns, components, and visual styles across all products.
- Document design guidelines and best practices to ensure scalability and maintainability of our digital experiences.
- Evangelize the design system within the team and ensure its proper implementation by development teams.
Performance Monitoring & Iteration :
- Monitor user journeys and analyze user behavior data (e.g., analytics, heatmaps) to identify areas for design improvement and optimization.
- Propose and implement data-driven design improvements to enhance usability, accessibility, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, performance data, and evolving business needs.
Requirements :
Experience :
- 7-10 years of demonstrable experience in UI/UX design, product design, or a closely related role, with a strong focus on creating user-centered digital experiences.
Portfolio :
- A compelling online portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and impactful user interface designs for web and mobile platforms. Your portfolio should clearly demonstrate your understanding of user-centered design principles and your ability to translate user needs and business goals into effective design solutions.
Design Tools :
- Proven proficiency in industry-standard UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD), Sketch, or similar.
Design Principles :
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles, user-centered design methodologies, usability heuristics, accessibility standards (WCAG), and information architecture.
Agile/Scrum :
- Experience working effectively within cross-functional teams in agile/scrum development environments.
Communication Skills :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts, present ideas persuasively, and provide constructive feedback.
Collaboration :
- A strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving :
