We are currently expanding our pre-sales and solution consulting team and are looking for a dynamic and commercially astute Solution Consultant Managed IT Services to join our growing team.
Job Summary :
As a Solution Consultant Managed IT Services, you will play a critical role in designing end-to-end IT service solutions for enterprise clients.
Youll be responsible for translating business needs into scalable, technically sound, and commercially viable IT solutions.
This includes ownership of solution design, pricing, proposal documentation, and direct engagement with customers and internal stakeholders.
You will work closely with Sales, Technical Architects, Delivery, and Finance teams to ensure the proposed solutions are aligned with client objectives, operational capabilities, and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Design & Architecture :
- Lead end-to-end solutioning for IT Managed Services including End-User Computing, Service Desk, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Cybersecurity.
- Analyze client requirements from RFPs/SOWs and create value-driven service offerings.
- Define operating models, delivery structures (on-site/offshore), SLAs, and governance models.
- Incorporate automation, monitoring, and analytics into solutions where Ownership :
- Build detailed cost and pricing models in collaboration with finance and delivery teams.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining target margins and minimizing risk.
- Present TCO/ROI models and value justifications to clients.
- Ensure commercial compliance and support contract structuring (Fixed, T&M, Development & Client Engagement :
- Prepare high-impact proposals, solution documents, and presentations.
- Participate in client discovery sessions, solution workshops, and bid presentations.
- Articulate technical and business benefits to both technical and non-technical Collaboration :
- Coordinate with Delivery, Finance, Procurement, and Partner teams to validate feasibility.
- Liaise with OEMs and vendors to incorporate hardware/software components where required.
- Support legal teams during review of commercial clauses, scope definitions, and Awareness & Market Intelligence :
- Stay abreast of evolving trends in ITSM, automation, security, cloud, and digital workplace.
- Benchmark solutions against market standards and identify opportunities for & Experience :
Required :
- 710+ years of experience in IT Services, including at least 3 years in solution consulting or pre-sales.
- Strong understanding of Managed IT Services delivery and commercial constructs.
- Proven experience building pricing models and solution architectures for enterprise clients.
- Experience in working with GSIs, OEMs, MSPs, and large enterprise :
- ITIL v4 Foundation or Intermediate.
- PMP or Prince2 awareness.
- Familiarity with RMM tools, ServiceNow, Autotask, or similar platforms.
