The role involves developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, building client relationships, and supporting marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate should bring a strong technical background, proven sales skills, and the ability to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with the product development team to align marketing efforts with product launches and updates.
- Manage the sales pipeline – from lead generation to deal closure – with effective follow-ups.
- Prepare proposals with accurate costing and ensure quality submissions for bids.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee the creation of marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and digital content.
- Analyze sales and marketing data to evaluate performance and suggest improvements.
- Present regular sales and marketing activity reports to senior management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to refine strategies.
Key Competencies
- Experience in engineering or process industry sectors (preferred: pharma, thermal, water, process, automobile, oil & gas).
