About the Role:
Camfil Power Systems (CPS) is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our industry-leading air filtration products for gas turbines to new and existing clients within the power generation and oil and gas sectors. Using your communication skills and technical knowledge that we will help you develop, you will build relationships by providing solutions that greatly improve our clients’ operational efficiency.
Training and development:
All necessary Camfil training will be provided as part of your extensive onboarding into becoming a dedicated member of our international sales team. The successful applicant can also expect insightful mentoring from the National Business Development Manager (BDM), a highly experienced and respected person in the industry. This mentorship is designed to prepare you for potential future leadership opportunities within Camfil.
The first weeks and months of the role will be devoted to learning the products and becoming technically competent while fulfilling internal sales duties. In time you will get involved in external joint-calls/presentations initially with the BDM and then prospecting, managing and travelling to grow your own sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and sell our range of leading air filtration products.
Prepare quotes and ensure aftermarket customers are constantly being attended to promptly and professionally.
Provide technical support and product information to clients.
Collaborate with the BDM to develop and implement sales strategies.
Manage and nurture relationships with new and existing clients.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals and monthly reports.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of CPS.
Collaborate with National BDM on new product applications and participate in webinars and presentations to benefit customers
Prepare, plan and travel for customer meetings and company activities domestically and internationally.
Requirements:
Exposure or understanding of gas turbines or other rotational equipment used in the power generation and oil and gas sectors would be highly desirable.
Technical sales experience or mechanical engineering background with a desire to sell.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical aptitude.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
A valid driver’s license.
