Territory Sales Manager

We’re hiring a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across a defined territory through strategic solution selling, new customer acquisition, and expansion of existing accounts. You’ll play a key role in growing market share, managing long-term client relationships, and supporting in-branch operations in collaboration with our local teams.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong industrial sales background who thrives in a field-based environment and enjoys blending consultative sales with hands-on client engagement.
What You’ll DoIdentify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Grow existing accounts by delivering tailored solutions in gas products, services, and technologies
Execute territory and account plans to exceed revenue and profitability goals
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through trust, reliability, and excellent service
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and scopes of work with customers
Use CRM tools (Outlook, Call Proof, etc.) to manage your schedule, pipeline, and reporting
Collaborate with branch managers to align on customer strategy and operational support
Review and manage customer accounts receivable to reduce financial risk
Respond quickly to customer issues—mobilizing internal resources to resolve them
Track and report key performance indicators and complete sales profitability analyses
Perform administrative tasks such as expense management, proposal reviews, and pricing updates
Contribute to cross-functional collaboration and team-wide goal setting
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of sales experience in the industrial or gas supply industry
Proven success managing a sales territory with revenue targets
Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with welding, gas, or industrial supply products
Experience in B2B or field-based industrial sales
Background in sales process methodology and territory planning
Understanding of financial terms: gross margin %, ROI, P&L, cash flow, and more
Goal-driven with strong interpersonal skills
