Travel Nursing Job Details
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Case Management
- Location: Alamance Regional Medical Center, Burlington, NC (near Greensboro, 27401)
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 6, 2026 – End: April 7, 2026)
- Shift: Day shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts per week)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200–$2250
- On-Site Nursing Position
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state; must be in hand at submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience as an RN
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Clinical experience in ICU, Medical-Surgical (MS), PICU, SDU, PCU, IMC, and Observation units
- Prior travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Case management and utilization review experience
- Knowledge of CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) regulations
- Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Willingness to float to other healthcare campuses as needed
Case Management RN Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage comprehensive patient care plans, including discharge planning and needs assessments
- Order Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and ensure appropriate follow-up care for patients
- Conduct utilization reviews and ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using EPIC
- Apply knowledge of CMS guidelines, DRG, ICD-10 coding, and other regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support core patient safety goals
