Role Summary
We are looking for a designer who combines a deep understanding of the trading industry with exceptional UI/UX design and software development acumen. As a product designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping innovative trading platform features that enhance user experience and drive engagement. You will bridge the gap between business requirements, user needs, and technical feasibility, working closely with developers and traders to deliver exceptional products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to understand trader needs and behaviors.
- Analyze market trends and competitor trading app interfaces.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of trading concepts, instruments, and workflows to design user-centric solutions.
- Understand the specific needs and challenges of traders across different asset classes.
- Translate complex trading data and functionalities into clear and accessible user interfaces.
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile trading platforms.
- Design interactive elements for quick and accurate trade execution.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve designs.
- Optimize data visualization for real-time market analysis.
- Implement feedback mechanisms for user input and error handling.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
- Possess a working knowledge of front-end development technologies (e.g.,React Js, React Native, Flutter and similar) to facilitate effective communication with developers.
- Be able to prototype within the development environment when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX designer, preferably in the trading or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of trading concepts, financial markets, and trading platforms.
- Proficiency in UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant design work and trading platform experience.
- Experience with API integration/ (DOM) API is a plus.
