Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with a strong background in digital illustration to join our team. You’ll be responsible for crafting user-friendly interfaces and intuitive experiences across our digital platforms while also adding visual storytelling through custom illustrations and visual assets.
You will also play a key role in shaping and evolving our brand identity through thoughtful design and consistent visual language.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver user profiles, journey maps, wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
- Translate complex ideas into elegant, intuitive, and user-centered design solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
- Create high-quality illustrations, icons, and visual elements to support brand identity and UI components.
- Conduct and analyze user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Maintain and evolve our design system and visual language.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing both product design and illustration work.
- 3+ years of experience creating clear an compelling user journeys and user profiles, demonstrating a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Experienced and able to lead Usability Testing and accessibility best practices including WCAG and ADA compliance.
- 3+ years of experience designing for mobile-first or responsive web applications.
- Proficiency creating high-fidelity designs in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Balsamiq or similar.
- Strong illustration skills in tools like Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, or Affinity Designer.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Motion design/animation skills are a bonus (e.g., After Effects, Lottie).
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML/CSS) is a plus but not required.
