Vice President of Finance
Location: Fresno, CA | Employment Type: Direct Hire
We’re seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to join a leading manufacturing company with 25+ years of success. This on-site leadership role in Fresno, CA offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all financial operations and lead strategic financial planning to drive growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Execute Financial Strategies aligned with company goals.
- Lead Financial Forecasting, capital planning, and risk management.
- Oversee Accounting Functions, including cost accounting and monthly closing.
- Ensure Compliance with GAAP, tax laws, and industry standards.
- Prepare Financial Reports and present variance analysis to leadership.
- Manage Audits and collaborate with external advisors.
- Analyze Production Costs, packaging efficiency, and contract profitability.
- Collaborate Across Teams to evaluate margins, contracts, and new product initiatives.
- Lead & Mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Support ERP System Integration (NetSuite, RedZone).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
- CPA designation highly preferred.
- 15+ years of leadership experience in finance, with 10+ years in senior roles within manufacturing or food processing industries.
- Expertise in food safety systems, P&L management, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, RedZone) and knowledge of FDA, USDA, and SQF standards.
