About the Role:
We're seeking a
Vice President of Finance
to lead all aspects of financial strategy, planning, and execution of BESS projects across North America. This is a critical leadership role, partnering closely with the executive team to drive financial performance, support project development and financing, and shape the company's long-term growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including FP&A, accounting, treasury, and investor relations.
- Lead project finance and capital structuring for large-scale energy storage assets.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
- Partner with development, engineering, and asset management teams to evaluate project economics.
- Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and strategic partners.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team to support scaling operations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audits, and reporting standards.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within renewable energy, power generation, or infrastructure.
- Proven track record leading project or structured finance for energy assets (BESS, solar, wind, etc.).
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, capital markets, and corporate strategy.
- Experience in high-growth or PE-backed environments a plus.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
