Video Editor
Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the production director.
The duties of Video Editor include:
- Analyzing and following a script, screenplay or outline when performing edits
- Adding Visual Effects and Motion Graphics to enhance footage
- Video Formats and Codecs: Understanding different file types and how they're compressed is crucial for efficient workflow and quality.
- Basic knowledge about Color Correction and Grading tools.
- Audio Editing: Editing audio tracks, cleaning up audio, and adding music or sound effects are essential, and writing voice-overs
- Working closely with Directors to present a final product that matches their vision
- Storytelling: Understanding how to tell a story visually and how editing choices impact the narrative is crucial.
- Making revisions to edits
Qualification & Experience:
- A bachelor's degree with atleast 2 years of experience in the Ads films, Movies and the relevant field
- Proficiency in softwares related to Video editing like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro, After effects and photo shops.
- Proficiency in VFX, 2D/3D animation is an added advantage
