Role Overview
As a Web Designer, you will create visually engaging, user-friendly websites that balance cutting-edge design with business goals. You will work closely with marketing and development teams to deliver responsive, SEO-optimized, and brand-consistent digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver websites using WordPress, Elementor, Wix, Shopify, HTML, or similar CMS/platforms.
- Collaborate with teams to create web layouts, landing pages, and digital assets.
- Ensure responsive design and mobile compatibility across devices.
- Optimize sites for loading speed, SEO, and visitor conversion.
- Maintain and enhance existing websites regularly.
- Stay updated on web design trends and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficient in WordPress, Elementor, Wix, Shopify, HTML, or equivalent CMS/platforms.
- Strong UI/UX design sensibility, wireframing, and prototyping skills.
- Basic CSS and JavaScript knowledge.
- Experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Understanding of SEO and web performance optimization.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of relevant web design experience.
- Portfolio showcasing live websites or design work.
Compensation
₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month during a 6-month probation period, with a performance-based hike thereafter.
