Accounts & Finance Manager

Talasha has been mandated to hire a Accounts Manager for a textile trading house that exports fabric to garment manufacturers outside India. This is a four decades old, family-run business and this position will head accounting & compliance end-to-end

Responsibilities -

• Accounting & Book keeping -Lead & manage the accounting department, ensure an efficient book keeping process & adherence to the principles of accounts
• Taxation & Compliance - Handle income tax, GST, TDS & all relevant statutory compliances - including calculations, filing of returns, etc, coordinate with tax authorities for assessments & appeals, etc
• Export Taxation & Compliance - Ensure adherence to export related taxations, book-keeping and compliance
• Audit & Finalisation of Books - Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, and GST audits, finalizing financial statements
• Accounts Receivable & Payable - Own the end to end of the AR AP process, including raising invoices, ledger reconciliations, payment approvals, etc
• Treasury Management - Oversee cash flows, fund allocation, credit lines and ensure maintenance of optimal working capital
• Team Management - Guide the junior accountants and supervise the day-to-day data entry
• Strategic Financial Management -Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by senior management, Assist in negotiating contracts with buyers and vendors, including pricing agreements, Evaluate investment opportunities and support in due diligence processes

Good to Have -

• 10+ years experience in accounts, compliance and taxation
• Experience in export businesses accounting & tax regulations
• Experience working on Tally

CTC - Upto Rs.12LPA (Basis last drawn)
