About the Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Director of Turnkey VLSI Design to lead our global semiconductor design initiatives. This role centers on technical vision, engineering depth, and cross-regional collaboration , driving complex SoC and ASIC programs executed jointly by teams in India and Europe . The ideal candidate is a proven design leader capable of guiding distributed engineering organizations toward innovation, best-in-class quality, and first-pass silicon success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end technical leadership for turnkey VLSI projects covering architecture, front-end design, verification, physical design, and silicon validation.
• Drive seamless collaboration between European and India-based design teams, ensuring cohesive execution, effective communication, and shared technical ownership.
• Define advanced design methodologies and flows to optimize performance, power, and area while maintaining project scalability across geographies.
• Partner with customer architecture teams in Europe and internal engineers in India to translate specifications into robust, high-performance designs.
• Mentor technical leaders and principal engineers, building deep expertise and alignment between global design centers.
• Oversee cross-site technical reviews , maintaining high standards for design quality, sign-off readiness, and tape-out reliability.
• Champion innovation by evaluating emerging technologies, EDA tools, IP integration approaches, and automation opportunities.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and technical excellence across time zones and disciplines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 18+ years of experience in VLSI/SoC/ASIC design, with substantial exposure to multinational, cross-site project leadership .
• Proven experience leading large engineering teams through full-chip design flows — from architecture and RTL design to P&R and tape-out.
• Strong background in front-end and back-end design, low-power methodologies, and DFT.
• Track record of success working with Europe-based semiconductor clients or R&D teams , aligning specifications and design objectives effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge cultural and technical differences between global teams.
• Passion for mentoring , developing technical talent, and building cohesive multinational engineering groups.
