Finance Manager - Spain & Portugal | Medical Devices
We’re supporting an international medical device company in the search for an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial operations across Spain and Portugal.
This is a hands-on role combining financial leadership, team management, and oversight of external accounting and tax providers, operating under different accounting models in each country.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow for Spain and Portugal
- Lead monthly and annual closings (local GAAP) and IFRS reporting to Group
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and corrective actions
- Act as a key finance partner to local leadership and Corporate Finance
- Lead and develop the local finance team
- Coordinate and supervise external accounting and tax providers
- Spain: hybrid model
- Portugal: fully outsourced
- Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury, and banking relationships
- Ensure compliance, internal controls, and audit coordination
Required Experience & Profile
- Strong background in finance, accounting, reporting, audit, and taxation (4-10 years experience)
- Proven experience managing external accounting and tax providers
- Experience in multinational environments and Group reporting
- Strong knowledge of Spanish financial and tax regulations (Portugal experience a plus)
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- High level of autonomy, strong analytical skills, and leadership capability
