Finance Manager - Spain & Portugal | Medical Devices

We’re supporting an international medical device company in the search for an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial operations across Spain and Portugal.

This is a hands-on role combining financial leadership, team management, and oversight of external accounting and tax providers, operating under different accounting models in each country.

Key Responsibilities

• Full ownership of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow for Spain and Portugal
• Lead monthly and annual closings (local GAAP) and IFRS reporting to Group
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and corrective actions
• Act as a key finance partner to local leadership and Corporate Finance
• Lead and develop the local finance team
• Coordinate and supervise external accounting and tax providers
• Spain: hybrid model
• Portugal: fully outsourced
• Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury, and banking relationships
• Ensure compliance, internal controls, and audit coordination

Required Experience & Profile

• Strong background in finance, accounting, reporting, audit, and taxation (4-10 years experience)
• Proven experience managing external accounting and tax providers
• Experience in multinational environments and Group reporting
• Strong knowledge of Spanish financial and tax regulations (Portugal experience a plus)
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• High level of autonomy, strong analytical skills, and leadership capability
