Finance Manager

Location; Bangalore

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controllership, end-to-end bookkeeping, and overseeing financial operations of the APAC region (India, Japan, Korea)

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills to manage our financial team and drive financial excellence across the business unit.

## Key Responsibilities -

- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including bookkeeping, and reporting

- Manage the month-end, Quarter end year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements

- Develop and implement financial procedures, and maintain internal controls

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and stakeholders

- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations

- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making

- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements across the organization

- Own the end to end payroll process and related compliances

## Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is required

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with a focus on controllership and end-to-end bookkeeping

- Proven track record of overseeing financial operations and team management

- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws

- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
