About GlobalVox

GlobalVox is building scalable, performance-driven technology solutions. We are looking for a strong Java Backend Developer who can take ownership of backend systems, contribute to architecture decisions, and deliver high-quality, production-ready code. This role is suited for someone technically solid, proactive, and capable of stepping into leadership responsibilities when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.
• Design multi-module architectures, reusable services, and scalable microservice components.
• Build and optimize REST APIs, data pipelines, search modules, and integration workflows.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL/PostgreSQL & Elasticsearch.
• Implement search, filters, sorting, batch processing, and high-volume data operations.
• Create export utilities (CSV/Excel/PDF) using tools like Apache POI, IText.
• Improve performance through query optimization, indexing, caching, and system tuning.
• Build secure backend modules including RBAC, authentication/authorization.
• Troubleshoot production issues, maintain clean code, and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with BA, QA, UI teams in an Agile development environment.



Required Skills

• 4–5 years of strong hands-on experience in Java + Spring Boot backend development
• Proficiency in API design, modular architecture, stored procedures, joins, and complex database operations
• Experience with Elastic search, Apache Nifi (or similar ETL tools), and batch processing
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to handle large datasets and performance-heavy features
• Ability to take ownership of modules from design to deployment with minimal supervision

Preferred

• Experience leading small modules or mentoring juniors
• Exposure to cloud platforms, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes
• Understanding of UI backend integration and API contract alignment
