Job Description
Designation Required:
Manager - Engineering and Maintenance, Department of Facility Management
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 12-15 years of experience in engineering services or facilities management.
• Experience in managing large educational campuses, academic buildings, and hostel facilities.
• Strong exposure to MEP systems, maintenance operations, and technical manpower management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and basic computer applications.
Role Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end engineering services and maintenance operations for academic buildings and hostels.
• Ensure operation and maintenance of MEP systems including electrical, HVAC, fire safety, plumbing, STP/WTP.
• Implement preventive and breakdown maintenance plans to ensure high uptime of critical equipment.
• Supervise in-house and outsourced technical manpower.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets, cost optimization, and vendor SLAs.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers.
