Mechanical Design Engineer

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• You are responsible for mechatronic assemblies and components as a technical sub‑project manager or Component Owner

• You work closely with internal and external partners

• You plan the setup and implementation of verification and validation prototypes

• Your role includes documentation as well as the creation of specifications up to detailed design drawings

• As part of the production introduction, you ensure a smooth production ramp‑up

Your qualifications and experience:

• You hold a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field

• You have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the design and development of mechatronic components and have advanced knowledge of manufacturing technologies, ideally in medical technology sector

• You possess knowledge in mechatronic development and project management

• You have experience with the design‑to‑cost process

• You possess strong technical problem-solving skills and can identify technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and work closely with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions.

• You have experience engaging effectively with suppliers to drive alignment, communicate requirements, and influence outcomes.
