Job Description
Leasing & Business Development
- Identify and onboard prospective tenants for commercial/retail properties.
- Conduct market research to track leasing trends, competitor activity, and rental benchmarks in Ahmedabad.
- Support development and execution of leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
- Manage property site visits, presentations, and negotiations with potential tenants.
Tenant Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants.
- Coordinate lease renewals, expansions, and amendments.
- Ensure high tenant satisfaction and retention.
Lease Documentation & Compliance
- Assist in drafting and reviewing lease agreements, LOIs, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams for smooth lease closures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements.
Financial & Reporting
- Track leasing performance metrics (occupancy rates, rental income, renewals).
- Prepare leasing MIS reports and revenue forecasts.
- Support budgeting and rental revenue planning activities.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with marketing for promotional activities and campaigns.
- Work with project, legal, and finance teams for timely deal closure and handover.
- Support property management team post-lease execution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in commercial/retail leasing, preferably with a reputed developer.
- Strong network with corporate clients, retail brands, and channel partners in Ahmedabad.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of lease structuring, financial modeling, and market analytics.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Result-oriented with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
