Job Description:

SAS Viya Admin requires understanding of both SAS Viya and OpenShift, including Kubernetes, cloud platforms,

security, and CI/CD processes. The role involves deploying, managing, and maintaining the SAS Viya platform

within OpenShift, ensuring its smooth operation and integration with other systems

Responsibilities:

• Deploying, configuring, and maintaining SAS Viya components within OpenShift environments, including managing storage, networking, and security.
• Working with OpenShift administrators to ensure the platform's stability, performance, and security.
• Integrating SAS Viya with other cloud platforms like AWS/GCP, managing deployments and configurations on platforms like Red Hat OpenShift Service for AWS (ROSA).
• Understanding and working with Kubernetes concepts, including pods, deployments, and namespaces.
• Integrating SAS Viya deployments with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and automated deployment processes.
• Managing and configuring Security Context Constraints (SCCs) within OpenShift to provide necessary permissions for SAS Viya services.
• Monitoring SAS Viya and OpenShift environments for performance issues and implementing solutions to optimize performance.
• Troubleshooting issues within SAS Viya and OpenShift environments, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions.
