Senior Associate - Finops
Job Overview
We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Senior FinOps Associate to support and own critical financial and operational processes. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on ERP experience, and the ability to manage domestic and international (import/export) financial operations in a fast-paced startup environment.
This role demands high ownership, precision, and the ability to independently execute and improve financial processes.
Responsibilities include conducting day to day financial and accounting operations, managing audits, and collaborating with other departments to support overall business development.
Requirements :
- Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)/ CA Semi-Qualified
- Experience: 2–3 years in accounting / finance operations
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in ERP systems is a plus
- Experience handling import-export financial operations
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- Strong ownership mindset and independent problem-solving ability
- Good coordination with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication skills
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end controllership and financial operations, including day-to-day accounting, vendor payments, refunds, collections, and reconciliations.
- Ensure statutory compliance across GST, PF, PT, including reviewing and validating work done by outsourced teams and ensuring timely filings.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and auditors.
- Handle end-to-end monthly book closure activities and report the final & accurate numbers to management and investors.
- Ensure completeness by preparing vendor ledger reconciliation on monthly basis
- Ensure completeness by preparing customer ledger reconciliation on monthly basis and reconciling the revenue with agreements.
- Payment processing (Domestic and Foreign)
- Oversee employee reimbursements
- Maintain and update vendor and customer master database
- Ensure correct mapping of quantities and shipment details
