Hiring: Social Media Content Manager / Copywriter
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Content Manager / Copywriter with 6–8 years of relevant experience in handling communication mandates for Ministries, Government Departments, and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
This is a client-facing, on-site role requiring strong editorial judgment, policy understanding, and the ability to translate complex government information into clear, citizen-friendly communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage social media strategies for Ministries/PSUs
- Draft policy-aligned content: posts, threads, campaign copies, speeches, FAQs & advisories
- Ensure adherence to government communication protocols and brand guidelines
- Coordinate with officials for real-time updates and approvals
- Handle sensitive communication with accuracy and discretion
- Monitor public sentiment and draft structured responses
- Support flagship programs, awareness drives & public initiatives
Requirements:
- 6–8 years of experience in digital content (Government/PSU experience preferred)
- Excellent command of English (Hindi is an advantage)
- Strong understanding of public policy communication & governance frameworks
- Experience working in a Government office environment (preferred)
- Ability to manage time-sensitive communication within structured approval systems
- Strong stakeholder coordination skills
Budget: ₹9–10 LPA (Candidates with significantly higher CTC expectations may not be considered)
