Job Description
ReportingtotheSVP–Commercial,theVP–AccountManagementisresponsibleformanagingandstrengtheningrelationshipswithexistingclientstoensurehighlevelsofsatisfaction,retention,andlong-termrevenuegrowth.Thisroleisinstrumentalindeliveringserviceexcellence,optimizingcontractperformance,andactingasthestrategicpointofcontactforkeyaccounts.
Inadditiontoaccountoversight,theVPwillactivelycontributetocommercialgrowthbyidentifyingandpursuingupsell,cross-sell,andrenewalopportunitieswithintheexistingclientbase.ByaligningclientneedswithGANS'sevolvingsolutionsandserviceofferings,theVPplaysapivotalroleinmaximizingaccountvalueandsupportingthecompany’soverallbusinessdevelopmentobjectives
Therolerequiresastrongcustomer-firstapproachcombinedwithcommercialacumen,ensuringclientsuccesswhiledrivingaccount-levelprofitabilityandexpansion.
Duties & Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serveastheprimarypointofcontactforassignedclients—bothnewandexisting—ensuringaseamlessonboardingexperienceandongoingclientsatisfaction.
- Buildstrong,long-termrelationshipswithstakeholdersacrossclientorganizations,ensuringproactivecommunicationandissueresolution.
- Facilitateregularcontractreviewmeetingswithclientsandinternaldepartmentstoensurealignment,performance,anddeliveryexcellence.
Commercial Growth Within Accounts
- Identifyandpursueupsellandcross-sellopportunitieswithinexistingandnewlyacquiredaccounts.
- Collaboratewithbusinessdevelopmentandtechnicalteamstotailorproposalsandsolutionsthatalignwithclientneedsandincreaseaccountrevenue.
- Monitorcontractperformanceandproactivelyproposeenhancementsorexpansionstoexistingservices.
Account Strategy & Planning
- Developandmaintainstrategicaccountplansforkeyclients,outlininggrowthpotential,serviceevolution,andclientengagementstrategies.
- EnsurealignmentbetweenclientobjectivesandGANS’sservicedeliveryandinnovationroadmap.
Client Feedback & Service Improvement
- Establishmechanismstogather,analyze,andactuponclientfeedback.
- Collaboratewithcross-functionalteams(operations,delivery,technical)toresolveissues,implementimprovements,andenhanceoverallclientexperience.
Commercial & Contractual Oversight
- Participateincommercialdiscussionsincludingrenewals,amendments,andcontractnegotiations,ensuringalignmentwithGANS’sfinancialandstrategicgoals.
- WorkwithlegalandcommercialteamsonagreementssuchasNDAs,renewals,andservice-levelchanges.
Market Awareness & Innovation
- StayinformedonindustrytrendsandevolvingclientneedstoensureGANSmaintainsrelevanceandcompetitiveadvantage.
- Provideclientinsightstointernalteamstosupportproductandserviceinnovation.
KPI Tracking & Performance Management
- Trackkeyperformanceindicators(KPIs)forclientaccountsandreportonrevenueperformance,satisfactionscores,andgrowthtargets.
- SupporttheSVP–Commercialinbudgeting,forecasting,andreportingactivitiesforaccountrelatedrevenues.
Educational Qualification
Bachelors/Master’sDegreeinbusinessadministration,economics,marketingorengineering.Anadvanceddegree(Master’sDegree)inbusinessadministration(preferred)
Experience:
- Minimumoften8-10yearscommercialmanagementexperience(5ofwhichshouldhavebeeninasimilarroleintheAviationindustry)
- 5-yearsofexperienceworkinginseniormanagementroles
- 15-20years’Experienceinprivateorinternationalorganizationsrelatedtotheaviationindustrysuchasrelatedairnavigationserviceproviders
- Extensivesales,marketingandconsultancyexperienceintheANSorwiderAviationindustry
- ExtensiveexperienceoflatesttrendsandtechnologicaldisruptionswithintheAirNavigationindustry
Special Technical Skills:
- ProficientverbalandwrittenskillsinEnglish(Arabicwouldbeanaddedadvantage)
