Job Overview
Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences. They oversee all store operations and maintain brand standards. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in these responsibilities and handle all primary duties when the Store Manager is absent.
Primary Responsibilities
- Brand (30%): Supervise and support associates' daily goals to deliver excellent customer experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and foster customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards such as merchandising, marketing, and dress code are met. Act as the main contact for customer issues and analyze store trends.
- People (30%): Engage, train, and develop team members. Recruit and build a strong team, identify strengths and opportunities, and address them through coaching. Maintain positive relations and communication, fostering diversity and inclusion.
- Operations (30%): Execute company processes, manage inventory, handle scheduling and payroll, and ensure proper opening and closing procedures. Support digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment.
- Safety/Loss Prevention (10%): Maintain a safe environment, follow policies, protect assets, and ensure compliance with safety training and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Preferred: 3+ years retail/customer service experience and 1+ year management experience
- Effective communication and team leadership skills
- Scheduling availability
- Cosmetology license desirable but not required
