Job Description
Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking an Accountant for our client in Garner, NC 27529. We are seeking a talented and experienced accounting professional to join our team and work closely with our existing Controller to maintain and help improve the financial processes of our growing business. Job Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable • Manage accounts receivable and invoicing processes. • Monitor aging reports and assist with collections where appropriate. • Process and manage accounts payable and vendor payments. • Resolve discrepancies in billing or vendor invoices.
Bookkeeping and Financial Recordkeeping • Maintain accurate and current financial records. • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements. • Maintain general ledger entries and documentation. • Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes. Payroll and Benefits Administration • Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll tax requirements. • Maintain employee payroll records. • Assist with administration of employee benefits programs in coordination with the company's HR Manager. • Stay informed regarding changes in payroll and benefits regulations. Financial Reporting • Assist with preparation of internal financial reports. • Support budgeting and financial planning processes. • Provide documentation and support for outside accounting and tax professionals.
Technology and Systems • QuickBooks Support ongoing improvement of financial processes through effective use of company systems. Job Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. • Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred but not required. • Minimum 3-5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management experience. • Experience in a small-to-medium sized business environment preferred. • Experience in a production, manufacturing, or printing environment is a plus. • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks. • Strong Microsoft Excel skills. • Ability to learn and utilize the company's MIS (Management Information System) used to track production, costing, and invoicing. • Ability to learn and interact with the company's CRM platform. • Familiarity with payroll software and benefits administration tools. • Strong analytical ability with attention to detail. Ability to communicate financial information clearly with management and staff. • Ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment. • Willingness to take initiative and improve processes where appropriate. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members.
