Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting, GST/TDS compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients’ books with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records (Sales, Purchase, JV, Bank, Cash, Expenses)
- Post entries in Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Ledgers)
- Handle GST working, data preparation, reconciliations & monthly return filing
- Assist in TDS computation, quarterly returns, and challan preparation
- Prepare vendor/customer reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Manage payroll, salary sheets, EPF/ESI calculations (if applicable)
- Coordinate with clients to collect data and clarify accounting queries
- Support auditors and prepare required audit schedules
- Maintain compliance trackers and ensure timely submissions
- Assist seniors in Income Tax filings and documentation
Skills & Requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and basic ROC compliance
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting tools
- Good communication & documentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple clients and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Qualification: B.Com/M.Com/Inter CA/Inter CMA or equivalent
- Experience: 1–3 years (Freshers with good knowledge can apply)
