Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Kolkata. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and analyzing financial data. Other key responsibilities include reconciling accounts, handling e-invoicing and Form 15CA and CB Creation + Coordination, monitoring cash flow, and supporting financial audits.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Accounting principles, Financial Reporting, and Budget Management
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools such as ZohoBooks, Tally, or similar platforms
• Experience in Taxation, Compliance, and Financial Auditing
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate financial concepts to non-financial team members
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus
• Prior experience in accounting roles within marketing, media, or creative agencies is an advantage
