Accounting Manager

Overview

The Accounting Manager ensures accurate financial reporting and supports company profitability, solvency, and liquidity. This role leads monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, audits, and continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review month-end entries and closings.
• Lead internal/external audits and ensure accurate financial records.
• Support cost reduction and financial performance improvements.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and trial balances.
• Collaborate with departments and plant operations for financial accuracy.
• Supervise annual inventory reviews (may require travel).
• Drive team development, policy enhancements, and process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in financial systems, MS Office, and GAAP.
• Experience with foreign currency translations.
• Detail-oriented with effective time management.
• Travel up to 10%.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance required; Master’s preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• 8+ years in progressive accounting roles.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
