Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp to Hire)
Pay: $27–$28 per hour
Schedule: Fully onsite
Location: Anaheim, CA
Base Pay Range: $27.00/hr – $28.00/hr
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp‑to‑hire opportunity with a stable company in Anaheim. This role owns the full AP function and works independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full‑cycle accounts payable as the sole AP team member
- Audit vendor invoices and perform three‑way matching
- Prepare and match supporting documentation
- Apply use tax to invoices when needed
- Handle all vendor questions and follow‑ups
- Prepare and print weekly check runs
- Review and process expense reports (ExpenseWire)
- Set up wire transfers through the bank portal
- Prepare GL account reconciliations and adjusting entries as requested
- Collect W‑9s, prepare, and file year‑end 1099s
- Obtain vendor liability insurance when required
- Assist with month‑end close activities
Qualifications
- Strong accounts payable experience with three‑way match
- Solid Excel skills required; VLOOKUPs and pivot tables preferred
- Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
