We’re currently seeking qualified candidates for an Accounts Receivable Associate. This position reports directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager and is a hybrid role working out of our Fort Washington office.
What a day in the life of an Accounts Receivable Associate looks like:
Billing & Invoicing
- Prepare and issue accurate, timely invoices across assigned Business Units
- Validate billing data against contracts, sales orders, and supporting documentation
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies proactively
Collections
- Perform routine outreach to follow up on outstanding invoices
- Track and escalate delinquent accounts to AR Manager as needed
- Maintain detailed collection notes and status updates
Cash Applications (Support)
- Assist with applying customer payments to invoices accurately and timely
- Support reconciliation between payments and open AR balances
Customer & Internal Support
- Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account status
- Partner with Sales and Operations to resolve billing issues, address items delaying invoice generation, and support collections efforts
- Support credit memo requests and billing corrections as needed
Reporting & Process Support
- Maintain accurate AR records and documentation
- Assist with AR aging review and reporting
- Identify process improvement opportunities in billing and collections
What we expect from qualified candidates:
- 0–2 years of experience (internship in accounting/finance is a plus)
- BSBA in accounting or finance
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Basic knowledge of Excel
- Willingness to learn and grow in an accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
