Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAdministrative Assistant Mature individual required for administrative support and to perform a variety of general accounting tasks in a fast paced working environment at our Mississauga office. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities * Receptionist duties – Greet, assist and/or direct clients and visitors * Receive, direct and relay telephone and fax messages, Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required * Process mail and courier * Maintain the current filing system for project related items * Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and social events * Assign and track project numbers. Setting up related file folders. * Enter data, such as employee time entries into system using defined Quick Books * Compile data and prepare a variety of reports, if required. * Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies. * Investigate questionable data. * Other administrative duties as required.
Education and Experience * Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. * Quickbooks experience an asset * Driver’s license an asset * Verbal and written communication skills a must. * Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset. * Requires minimum 1-2 years experience Key Competencies * Information gathering and information monitoring * Attention to detail and accuracy * Flexibility, adaptability and team oriented * Multi-task * Fluent in English * Reliability is of utmost importance Only those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted.
