Job Description
Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite)
Duration: 6 months, extension possible
About the role:
We are hiring a Bilingual Operations Officer I to support the client’s day-to-day operational activities. This role is a backfill position and involves high-volume, phone-based customer interactions. The contractor will be responsible for intake, processing coordination, and providing timely updates while adhering to strict service level agreements and confidentiality standards.
Training will be provided for the first 2–3 weeks, and the role offers exposure to operational processes within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support and perform general to specialized transactions
- Handle 100% phone-based intake and route requests to the appropriate processing teams
- Provide timely and accurate updates to external customers
- Execute transactions accurately and in line with established guidelines and SLAs
- Escalate issues appropriately to ensure service quality
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational processes
- Ensure confidentiality and adherence to enterprise policies and codes of conduct
Must Have Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality customer service in both French and English
- Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and productivity targets
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume environment
- Communicate clearly and professionally with external customers
Experience:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in customer service or operations
- Exposure to operational or processing roles preferred
- Candidates should not be overqualified for this role
Skillsets:
- Bilingual (French/English) – mandatory
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to handle strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel knowledge preferred
- Banking or financial institution experience is a plus
Education:
- Post-secondary education required

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime: No
- Rotation: No
- Interview Process: 1 round, in-person panel interview
- Contractor will have access to customer data
